In this seminar we focused on the Ethical Principles of Artificial Intelligence and specifically:
- How did ethics come to the fore on the occasion of Artificial Intelligence?
- How is ethics related to Artificial Intelligence?
- Why was ethics demanded in the Artificial Intelligence field?
- What is the institutional framework?
- How can each of us contribute to this?
Initially, Dr. Eleni Rethymiotaki, Associate Professor of Law at EKPA and Chairman of the National Bioethics Committee, laid the groundwork for our discussion, explaining the ethical principles of Artificial Intelligence, while Dr. Alkis Gounaris, Scientific Associate of the Department of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, approached the issue from a more technological and practical point of view so that there is a complete understanding of ethics in AI.
